The former presidential candidate and chieftain of the African Democratic Congress made the remarks in Akwa Ibom State during an event where the state’s ObIdient Movement formally aligned with the party.

I have seen Peter Obi advise Nigerians to protect their votes with all their might in 2027 elections. The move to join ADC party in Akwa Ibom shows he is reorganizing early. I have support him stressing to people to be vigilant to prevent voter fraud at polling stations so that the voice of the citizen is not wasted.

This is one of the reasons people no longer want to vote cause they already have the mindset that their votes will not be counted.
