Your assistance this is why it is good to have a trusted person in place. You need to work with someone you can always trust.

My business is still a small business run by only me, though i don't always fall sick, but in situations like this i take a break then try my best to attend to the ones i can and propone the others.
For a one-man business, if the owner is seriously sick, s(he) has no choice but to close the business until s(he) is recovered.
Well, closing the business for a long time can have a bad effect on it. it is better to get a trusted person to run the business for a while
It is only a business ran solo that would find itself in a difficult position just because the owner is sick.
I have at least a staff in all of my businesses. They can run the business for a day or two if I am sick.
I have never been sick especially to the extend of been bedridden! I try as much as possible to keep myself healthy and strong by eating nutritious food and take preventative medicine like malaria medicine in time before it will strike.
I was very seriously sick this month for more than 5 days and since I find it difficult to find reliable workers, most activity was closed for a fortnight.
My business is a very small one-people business, but as it's mostly performed online, I keep on running it even when I'm sick (during the time I can leave the bed, I sit in front of a screen and begin to work). I'm doing it just now my couple caught the covid (in my city it's still running).
