The concept of Ikigai has been known since 794 when Japanese society was still very simple and looking for the meaning of life, in Okinawa Ikagai is believed to be one of the factors that prolongs human life. The philosophy of Ikagai teaches that true happiness and financial success come from the balance of 4 elements: passion, profession, vacation and mission.
- Passion: What do you love?, refers to activities that make you more enthusiastic.
- Profession: What are you good at?, refers to skills, professionalism.
- Vacation: What does the world need? refers to the market and social needs.
- Mission: What can you get? (returns) refers to income and career.
When the four elements of Ikagai meet, then a strong Ikagai personality will be formed, not only about income, work, and career but also about happiness in life and clear goals.
