President Bola Tinubu has asked Vice President Kashim Shettima to visit Kebbi State on Wednesday to sympathise with the state government and assure parents and guardians of the kidnapped schoolgirls that the government will ensure their quick release.
A statement released by presidential spokesperson, Bayo Onanuga, says President Tinubu also sent his condolences to the military over the death of the gallant soldiers and Brigadier General Musa Uba, who paid the ultimate price while on active duty fighting insurgents in Borno state.

It should be the Nigerian President to visit the crime scene; why send his VP? Until today, there is no update on the location of those kidnapped students. How pitiful are these kids. It is so sickening. I sympathize with the feelings of the parents losing their kids forever.
