The obvious truth is that a lot of people are working low paying jobs. So are they ways we can still increase our standard of living with low paying jobs?

I believe it will be difficult for someone with a low-paying job to raise her standard of living. If you work a low-paying job, you should have multiple sources of income. Of course, do it if you know how to manage to avoid jeopardizing the quality of your work.
