Indonesia's Independence Day.

Today is Indonesia's Independence Day. The country got its independence from Netherlands on 17th August, 1945. I was not aware of that until I visited Google today. Google doodle today depicts Indonesia's Independence day. It's colourful and attractive. They show men and women parading in their traditional outfits holding the flag of the nation. There are beautiful traditional designs at the back that are so lively and colourful.
The country celebrates it's independence day with such cultural programs and parades.
Wishing all our Indonesian friends a Happy Independence Day. You have a beautiful country. May it prospers more.

I have been to Bali in Indonesia and the place is extremely beautiful. And I loved the hospitality there. The people are humble and very friendly. We are planning to go there again in the coming year with our daughters. Last time when we went, my daughters were not born. Keeping fingers crossed that all goes well and we can go as per our plan.
