So I just told myself that I am not using normal mobile calls to reach out to anyone. I decided that I would only use internet calls to talk to people. I switched to WhatsApp calls in a month and I just saved 3/4 of the money I use to get airtime for my phone. Do you use internet calls? How much has it helped you save?

I don't use it since i don't really call much, but Internet calls are a lot cheaper than the regular calle, but the major disadvantage is that the other person needs to also have an Internet connection to connect.

Here, making local calls via your phone is free. For international calls, you have to pay. But if you use internet to make calls internationally, it's free. I also make calls on WhatsApp.
Are you implying that you don't pay for local calls? Who pays for it? The government? That's really incredible to hear and believe.

Yes, if I use a smartphone to make a local call, that's free. But if I apply for a fixed line at home, I have to pay for the fixed line charge, but no need to pay for each call.

In my county internet is P400 a month minimum. Which is more expensive compared to subscribing for voice bundles. Voice bundles costs P30 a week where you can make unlimited calls as long as you are calling someone on the same network.

That's really terrible. Everywhere in the world, internet is supposed to be cheap enough that communication over the internet should be cheaper.

It's years I mostly rely on WhatsApp to call. When it comes to messages, also on Telegram or WowApp. I only use the landline to call supply companies, as they are still old-fashioned (in any way, all free calls).

How much is P400? Can voice bundles be used to open sites to work on tasks like PTP forums?

From several conversations with my friends, many of them don't have credit on their SIM cards but they prefer to have internet data on their smartphones, and wherever I go to their friends' houses, on average they have installed wifi, so it will be more economical to call using WhatsApp, Telegram, etc.
