I have noticed that the internet connected is getting disconnected when I am making online payment due to which the payment remains incomplete. Does anyone else face this problem and what is the best way to prevent it?

I have experienced this a few times, but it was simply network issue. So it's probably bad network from your service providers.

I am specifically facing this problem for the desktop wifi connection, the wifi connection appears stable for the laptops, there may be a problem with the wifi dongle used.
