Angel investors and those that invest in the stock market all have some level of ownership in the business.

Which would you choose between getting to invest in equity or choosing to invest in the stock market?

The choice between investing directly in equity as an angel investor or investing in the stock market depends largely on each person's profile. In my case, I believe both options have clear advantages. Being an angel investor gives you the opportunity to participate in the early stages of a business, with a level of influence and close involvement that doesn't exist in the stock market. However, it also involves high risks, because startups can easily fail. On the other hand, investing in the stock market offers liquidity and diversification: you can enter and exit more easily and distribute your capital across different sectors. Personally, I'm more drawn to the stock market because it allows me to manage risk in a more disciplined way and take advantage of publicly available information to make decisions. Ultimately, the key is understanding your risk tolerance and deciding whether you prefer close involvement with the business or flexibility in your investments.
