Investing in stocks vs Investing in a business?

Some people are investing their money in stocks. Others prefer to invest their money to build a business. All of them are investments for the future.

Which one do you think is better between investing in a business and investing in stocks?

Hello everyone, I wanted to start this discussion to get your opinions on a topic many of us face: what's the best way to invest our money, starting our own business or investing in stocks? Personally, I think both options have their advantages and disadvantages. Investing in a business can offer greater control and growth potential, but it requires a lot of time, effort, and risk. On the other hand, investing in stocks is more liquid and can be less demanding in terms of dedication, although it also has its risks and market volatility. The decision largely depends on each person's goals, risk profile, and available resources. What do you think? Which do you believe is more suitable for the future? I'm very interested in hearing different perspectives and experiences.

I would prefer to invest in a business over investing in stocks. But investing in a business would cost more money.

Starting a business allows you to earn active income, while investing in the stock market allows you to earn passive income. I will go with a business

I would rather invest in a business. I don't like the uncertainty of the stock market. Business cab grow organically.

At the end of the day, it mainly depends on individual preferences as both have their pros and cons. Personally i would like to do both.

Personally, I would stay away from starting a business. Imagine have put all your capital in leasing a property, getting all the equipment and supplies, hiring help, opening up and having absolutely no customers. I’ve know people who are very successful in their business. In fact they are millionaires. There are however, days when the only thing they’ve accomplished the entire day was to read the newspaper from cover to cover.

If money is not the problem, I would rather invest in a business. If the income is limited, I would put it in stocks.

Investing in a business is what would work better for me as a person. The only asset that I am confident about is real estate, not stocks.
