News online had it that Iran is using aerial drones, facial recognition systems, and a citizen-reporting app to enforce mandatory hijab laws on women, according to a United Nations report released Friday, March 14.



The report highlights Iran’s reliance on technology to monitor and punish women defying the mandatory Islamic dress code.
