According to the report, Iran is planning to sign a “defence-security” treaty with its “axis of resistance” allies amid heightened tensions with the US and Israel. The Iranian Parliament’s National Security and Foreign Policy Commission discussed a proposed legislation in this regard on Oct.8. Once finalized, the bill will be submitted to parliament for consideration, as per Iranian state media reports.
The report said that Iran seeks to create a “common defense structure designed to counter external threats, particularly from the US and Israel.”
