Iranian woman paralysed after being shot over hijab

A source told the BBC that an Iranian mother of two was shot by police for allegedly disobeying the nation's severe hijab laws, leaving her paraplegic. "She is paralysed from the waist down, and doctors have said it will take months to determine whether she will be permanently paraplegic or not."
