According to the report, massive anti-regime protests erupted across multiple cities in Iran on February 18, 2026, as thousands gathered for 40th-day memorial ceremonies honoring protesters killed in recent crackdowns.
The report said that from Najafabad and Homayounshahr to Mashhad, Tehran, Shiraz, Abdanan, and beyond, demonstrators were seen chanting political slogans, including Javid Shah, while demanding fundamental change.
The report added that videos circulating online show large crowds, reported internet disruptions, heavy security presence, and incidents involving smoke and fires in different areas. Students in Shiraz were seen removing images of Iran’s leadership from textbooks, while families gathered at gravesites to remember loved ones lost during previous unrest.
