Iran's Khamenei Orders Direct Attack on Israel

According to the report, Iran's supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has ordered a "direct attack" on Israel in retaliation for the killing of Hamas political chief Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran, the New York Times reported citing three Iranian officials.

Meanwhile, the Israeli government has refused to comment on the killing of Haniyeh.

The report speculated a harsh and deadly revenge from Iran. The war may escalate to the Islamic countries. Israel will take whatever steps are necessary to protect its people and secure its borders.
