According to the report, major groups in “Iraq’s Islamic Resistance” have vowed to join Hezbollah to “directly confront” Israel if it launches a ground invasion of Lebanon.
The report said that the umbrella group of pro-Iran fighters decided during a meeting in the Iraqi capital Baghdad on Sept. 23. A senior Iraqi resistance official told this to the London-based al-Araby al-Jadeed news outlet.
The report added that the official said the meeting included commanders from groups like Kata'ib Hezbollah, Harakat Hezbollah al-Nujaba, and Kata'ib Sayyid al-Shuhada. The meeting concluded with a decision for “direct confrontation” alongside Hezbollah against any potential Israeli ground operation in Lebanon, the official said.
This will be crucial for Israel standing alone. It should be better for the Muslim countries to help the warring countries stop the war and not igniting each other to fight against Israel which may cause worse escalations when the USA and other allied countries will defend Israel.
