In the world of investment and finance, an irreversible transaction is a type of transaction or decision that cannot be changed or canceled once executed, so its impact is permanent. Some examples of irreversible transactions in investment include crypto transfers, stock purchases or executions, deposits in digital banks, etc.
In finance, irreversible transactions can also occur. For example, if a business has doubtful receivables, and at the end of the year, we write them off and record them as expenses, but after preparing the financial statement a few weeks later, the doubtful receivables are paid in full, and the transaction we recorded in the financial statement cannot be changed.
Have you ever made an irreversible transaction in investment or finance?
