Is Anyone Earning From Short Videos

I publish short videos on various social platforms. I do not do it on a regular basis. I have not monetized my short videos but this is something I am looking forward to do it in 2025. Has anyone monetized short videos, do you make money from short videos? Well, making money from short videos would be really interesting thing as you do not have to work hard for it.

I tried it once and garnered 5000 viewers but I stopped. It took me time to do it. I am always busy at work
I plan to file a one-year leave of absence without pay. My video was about different kinds of worms and earthworms. It's so interesting.

I do not make money making short videos, but there are some websites which pay users for watching short and long videos, watching for entertainment.

I haven't done this, but don't you need like a lot of traffic to be able to earn through this? Or is there some other way.

I'm not into any thing video making for now. Though a while back I had a YouTube channel but it is inactive now
