I feel like I waste so much time on my devices every day without really getting anything meaningful done. There's always a new notification coming through or an interesting article popping up in my feeds that sucks me in. Before I know it hours have gone by and I don't seem any closer to finishing my to-do list.
I'll sit down intending to work but then end up scrolling social media or watching pointless videos for the rest of the night. It's so hard to pry myself away even when I know the time could be better spent. Has anyone else experienced this or found any solutions? I want to learn to focus better and use my time more wisely. Any advice would be appreciated!

You can start with disabling all social media apps that give you notifications when you want to work. If you can , block all notifications from browsers when you want to work. It is something that you have to be intentional about.

When I feel down because of distractions, I always find ways to ignite myself to be productive by thinking on a forum site that lets my mind work for the better. I always think of doing some activities here on DBucks.

Immediately you open your browser, you are greeted with news ads that have been tailored to get your attention and before you know it, you are there and you move away from the work that you opened the browser to do.

I used to get easily distracted by my smartphone. I'd find myself using TikTok and other social media platforms while I was supposed to be working. However, I have become much better at managing my phone usage and I feel more disciplined now.
