Yes, corruption is definitely a malpractice that involves dishonest or unethical behavior, usually by people in power, for personal gain. Corruption undermines trust, fairness, and development in societies, and it is harmful to individuals and communities. So, it is recognized as a wrongful and damaging practice. Holding individuals accountable and promoting integrity are key to fostering a fair and just society.

Unfortunately, corruption can be a significant issue in politics worldwide. It undermines democratic processes, erodes public trust, and hinders development. However, many countries and organizations work hard to promote transparency, enforce laws, and empower citizens to hold leaders accountable. We need to be informed and involved as citizens and play a big role in pushing for a change.

Through social media, online petitions, and awareness campaigns, they expose corrupt practices, demand transparency, and mobilize communities. Digital activism plays a crucial role in holding leaders accountable and promising good governance. It is inspiring to see how technology empowers people to make a difference.

In our current generation, corruption has become something that is so common, most people don't see it as an offence which is a pity.
Agree, corruption is everywhere. When I exchanged my US dollar to pesos, I was shocked. One dollar is P56, but when it was exchanged, the money exchanger got almost one half of the total amount. I told him he is corrupt and I got back my US dollar and exchanged it in the bank which gives a fair exchange.

Corruption if tolerated can hinder progress of a nation if its leader the corrupt. There's money to corrupt, so instead for spending it to infrastructures for example, money is secretly transferred to his account.

Truly corruption is malpractice in it's true nature but over time it started becoming the norm and in our today's world corruption is seen as something of great value making the honest and righteous doings becoming more like a shameful thing to do or talk about.
