Is crypto making people to question traditional banking institutions?

It seems since crypto came, and people got more aware of it, many people have questioned traditional banking institutions more. Has crypto made you as a person to have doubts on traditional banking institutions?

Even though they say crypto challenges traditional banking and finances I think crypto still needs Fiat money. That's because I bitcoin will be nothing unless there is fiat value attached.
