I am not in this line of business but I know a lot of people who are into this. If you are thinking of starting an event planning business, it can be highly profitable. In my area, people are willing to pay professionals to manage weddings, birthdays, and corporate events. They would rather enjoy the event than deal with the stress of planning. With event planning, you can cater to these people and businesses. However, you need a strong team (cooks, decorators, waiters, electricians, technicians, etc.). You also need upfront investment in tents, cookware, furniture, etc.

Does it really work in Nigeria? Most Nigerians use their family members to plan their events. Only the rich people pay event planners.
