Is it a good idea to change religion for the person that you love?

I have known several people who have switched to a different religion because of their love live, is this right?

I can't really say much on this honestly. I feel it depends on each individual. For me I doubt I would be able to do this.

I will never change my religion because of someone. Doing it seems I abandon my faith. It is advisable to love and marry someone having the same religion as yours.

Religion shouldn't be mixed with love. Each partner should have the freedom to follow the religion he/ she wants to.
