Although privatized space exploration has drawn criticism from many, assessments of private space companies are more likely to state that they are building safe and dependable spacecraft, making significant contributions to space exploration, and expanding access to space travel for more people than they are to say that they are doing a bad job. As long as government intervention is in place to supervise and balance the possible drawbacks of the risky and capitalistic nature of the private sector, private space exploration can also be considered a net ethical process.
