Is it arrogance for a service provider to ask that customers call and book before coming to the shop/office?

I always have lots of things to do nowadays and I tell my customers to call me first and book a session before coming to the office. Some patrons are saying that I have started being proud. Simply because they were used to walking into the office at anytime to see me.

Is it arrogance to ask them to call and book me now?
