Is it normal for a male to plat his hair

Naturally women are known to be plating their hair while men cut it, but this can vary depending on the country, individually, family background and others. Some countries find it as a taboo for a male to plat their hair, while in some countries it's a normal hair style, what do you assume, is it normal and proper for a male to plat his hair?

In my country it's not strange at all to leave your hair long as a man, I think seeing something like taboo is very retrograde and something that shouldn't have that importance, but well, it's just my point of view ...

Don't forget the hair type to, a male man needs to have good hair type in order to grow it, but i don't mind if a male have long hair.

In the UK anything goes although back in the 80s it was thought to be quite outrageous for a man to have very long hair. Man buns are quite popular over here now even in some older men. I personally like to see short hair on a man.
