Is it right for the apprentice to hijack the customers/clients of the master?

There are some apprentices that have stayed with a particular master for quite some time. They know the job and also have access to the customers and clients of the master. Is it right for the apprentice to take orders and jobs from these customers and bypass the master to serve these clients/ customers?

Many people are doing this. But I think it is quite unethical. You are supposed to get salary from your employer. But at the same time, you are competing with your employer to get customers.

That's the reason many masters don't want to show their apprentices everything about the business. They always want to usurp the boss.

This is wrong. Never hijack the customers or clients of your Master no matter how juicy the offer is. It's bad

It is completely wrong, and it is so unfortunate that this is what is happening today, which is why i don't blame most masters when they don't teach their apprentice everything.

Many masters don't even allow the apprentice access to their customers. You might call it insecurity but many masters have lost their businesses because their apprentices hijacked their customers.

It might be a norm in our society but it's our duty to condemn it and not advocating for it. That everyone is doing it doesn't makes it right

Even when the clients of your boss comes to patronize you individually, you have to let your boss know about it.
