They always say that consistency in staying to one business would yield in the long term. What if the business is not working out, would it be a bad thing to switch from the first business to another business that works.

I believe that consistency in business is important, but you also have to be realistic and flexible. If, after a lot of effort and time, the business isn't yielding the expected results, I don't see anything wrong with changing course. Perseverance is valuable, but it shouldn't become an obstacle that prevents you from adapting to new opportunities or learning from mistakes. Sometimes, insisting on something that isn't working only generates frustration and a waste of resources, both financial and emotional. Changing businesses can be a smart strategy if it's done with analysis and planning, not just on impulse. The important thing is to carefully evaluate the reasons and not be afraid to pivot when necessary. Ultimately, flexibility and adaptability are key qualities in the entrepreneurial world, and there's nothing wrong with changing if it means seeking a more successful path.

The business world is dynamic. If one business is not working for you, switch to the next business. Samsung started like a grocery shop.

In a situation where you are very sure the business would no longer bring results, then i personally don't think there is anything wrong with switching business.
