There are many scholars debating about this issue if living in poverty is a sin. Others may say a sin because those who live in poverty commit crimes just to save their hunger. However different religious and philosophical traditions may have different perspectives on poverty and sin. Some religions consider poverty to be a consequence of social or personal factors, while others may emphasize the importance of helping those in need. It is important to note that poverty itself is not seen as a sin or something inherently wrong, but rather actions or situations that perpetuate poverty might be considered unethical or sinful by certain belief systems. Poverty could only become a sin if it is made as a foundation to do sinful acts to survive which is wrong.

No one wants to lives in poverty, but it depends on how you look at it. There are does who consider it a sin and then there are does who see it as their fate. Personally i think there is notting wrong being poor but it becomes wrong when you choose to remain poor.

Poverty is not a sin. It is not a crime and is not part of the laws of the land that whoever lives in poverty will be sanctioned. It will only become unlawful if it is the source of crime and the alibi that they are poor and hungry which is why they committed a crime which wrong.
