When it comes to browsing, the most important thing that people consider is speed. And there are various options to connect a laptop to the internet. It could be through mobile hotspots or portable MiFi devices.

Is a MiFi connection faster than that of a mobile phone hotspot?

My experience is that MiFis always connect faster. It seems the many apps that use data on smartphones hold mobile hotspot back in terms of speed.

Yes i think it is faster since it's only function is to gain access to the Internet unlike your smartphone that has other functions as well.

Mobile phone hotspots are generally very slow and can't make a laptop to browse very fast. MIFs are faster.
