Is owning property still the ultimate financial goal?

For years, people saw owning land or a home as the top money move. And by people i mean me too. But with rising costs and flexible lifestyles, is it still worth it? Or is investing elsewhere smarter? for me its still my number goal. I would really love to see myself owning my own house one day.

Real estate is one of the most lucrative and most profitable business ever. Buying a property is a good financial investment. Though, now there are many business model that is equally profitable. I disagree that buying and owning a property is considered by many as ultimate financial goal. My ultimate fimancial game is be able to foot my bills without any constraints at all

I have small apartment but tommorow I go in bank check my loan options. I will go bigger apartment now. Most of my salary will go there.

But then again, not everyone wants to dive into the financial and emotional complexity of what homeownership is. It's easier to just renew a lease
