Is "strong discipline" a selling point for a school?

Schools as business organizations need to have unique selling points to attract parents to bring their kids. Do you think that a school that prides in "strong discipline" to use that as a selling point?

I feel while this is good, most parents might be scared that their child might be flogged and all that, so most schools often use modern equipment and teaching skills as a selling point more than strong discipline.

While the school follows a discipline the parents may undo that by spoiling them In today's world with just one or two kids parents over protect them and indulge in everything a child wants - just a thought

I went to a high school that used strong discipline as a selling point and parents of those days fell head over heels for it. That can't be a selling point for a school in today's age where parents pamper children. I for one won't send my child to such a school.

Most parents actually prefer their children to go to schools with moderate levels of discipline. Not that kind of military barracks discipline.
