Is there a difference between online business and e-commerce platforms?

It seems like the two terms, online business and e-commerce platform, are used interchangeably. And I have encountered the two on different occasions. Is there a difference between the two concepts or they are the same?

E-commerce: is Online buying and selling of goods and services. Then Online Business (or E-business) is All business activities conducted online, including e-commerce.
Examples: Online marketing, customer relationship management (CRM), supply chain management, etc

Of course, the two are different. E-commerce is a subset of online business (e-business). E-commerce focuses more on online buying and selling transactions, while e-business encompasses all online business activities, including marketing, customer management, etc.
