Is there another way to connect phone to PC for file transfer apart from USB chord?

We majorly use USB to connect our phones to our PCs for file transfer. The Bluetooth is very slow. What other ways exist to connect a smartphone to a computer for file transfer apart from USB? If there is, please describe how the process works?
