Is there any advantage of giving accommodation to your staff?

An organization, specifically a church, just offered me to come play piano for them on a monthly basis. I am not taking the job though because I won't have time. But they offered to give me a well furnished accommodation free of charge.

That has got me wondering why an organisation would go to that length to secure a staff? What do they stand to gain from offering a staff an accommodation?

Yes it can be a kind of incentive to help make you interested in their offer. Secondly it would help makes you committed to their job

When they give a staff accommodation, it means the company wants to help the staff sort out the bills and that is good motivation.

On a normal day, this would help the staff be more committed to their job as they won't have to worry about anything related to accomodation.

With accommodation being provided for the staff, they don't really have any reason to not be loyal to the organization that has given such largesse.

Yes with accommodation provided to the staff he or she will not have any excuse to report late to work .
