Israel has launched an airstrike near Syria’s presidential palace, warning Damascus over sectarian violence against the Druze community. PM Netanyahu and Defence Minister Katz say the strike is a message to stop attacks on Syria’s Druze. The deadly clashes have killed over 100 people near Damascus, mostly Druze fighters. Meanwhile, Syria's Druze leaders call the violence “genocidal” and urge global intervention. The US has also warned Syria to halt the fighting. All this comes as Iran's economic plans in Syria unravel following Assad’s fall.
The Druze and Christians are allies of Israel and they will help them. All Syrians need protection . Druze are being abused to cause division problems so that Syria remains weak and who benefits if Syria is weak? Hoping this chaos will end. Many innocent civilians died.
