Israel hits Yemen's Houthis after reports group used cluster bomb

Israel responded to the Houthi group's Friday missile attack, which it said included cluster munitions, by launching airstrikes against Houthi sites in Sanaa, Yemen's capital.

The Israeli operation targeted a military complex that involved power plants, a fuel depot, and the presidential residence.

According to Houthi officials, 67 people were injured and four individuals were killed. According to local media and the AP, the Israeli military claimed that the Houthi strike was the first time the Iran-backed Houthis had used such weapons in the ongoing battle with Israel.

More than 100 nations banned the explosives, and the Israeli military is allegedly looking into why it failed to intercept the missile carrying them.
