According to the report, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said troops are deployed near the Syrian border with the Golan Heights “raising readiness for various scenarios” after a “situational assessment” and “developments in Syria’s internal fighting.”
The report said that the IDF added it “will thwart any threat to Israel’s citizens and borders.”This comes as Israel continues the war against Hamas in Gaza and takes out Hezbollah terrorist strongholds in Lebanon as a fragile ceasefire remains in effect.
The report also stated that Javed Ali is an associate professor of practice at the University of Michigan’s Gerald R. Ford School of Public Policy.
The Saudi newspaper Elaph reported that Syrian President Bashar al-Assad asked Israel for help in confronting Islamist rebel groups. The newspaper cited an intelligence official who confirmed Assad's request. I suspect those talks are ongoing. UAE wants Syria to break ties with Iran.
IDF will beat them black and blue, unlike Syrian and Russian soldiers who were all scared, they had fighter jets, and tanks but didn't even fight back. They just run away.
