According to the report, Israel warned its enemies on Wednesday (Sept. 10) that they were not safe anywhere, a day after strikes targeting Hamas leaders in Qatar -- a US ally -- drew a rare rebuke from President Donald Trump. Defence Minister Israel Katz vowed that Israel would "act against its enemies anywhere", while Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu urged Qatar to expel Hamas officials or hold them to account, "because if you don’t, we will".
Meanwhile, Israeli media reported that officials are increasingly doubtful of the success of the Sept. 9 strike that targeted Hamas’ political leaders in the Qatari capital Doha. Israel reportedly informed the US that the chances of the success of the strike had decreased significantly, as per the Kan public broadcaster. Another official told Kan that while the final results needed to be seen, it was possible the strike had not achieved “the desired result.
In addition, there’s no indication that the terrorists were killed, Channel 12 reported, citing a source who hoped that “they were assassinated, but optimism is fading.” Other Israeli media reports also expressed “pessimism regarding the lethality of the strike on most of the targets, and perhaps all of them.”
