According to the report, Israeli companies Maris-Tech and Iron Brain will work together to enable artificial intelligence (AI) on small and unmanned military platforms that previously couldn’t run AI workloads.

The report stated that Maris‑Tech will supply combat-edge computers capable of processing high-quality video and multi-sensor data with low latency and minimal power, all directly on the platform. The report also stated that Iron Brain will provide self-learning AI that adapts to new situations without relying on large, pre-collected datasets.

The report said that the companies aim to run AI on board rather than depend on remote or cloud processing, allowing real-time multi-sensor analysis at the point of operations.

Brain CEO Moshe Kravitz said the company’s self-learning AI is designed to deliver real-time battlefield intelligence on platforms with limited computing resources. He explained that by integrating with Maris-Tech’s edge solutions, they will be able to bring advanced multi-sensor AI capabilities to unmanned systems and other mission-critical defense applications.

Additionally, Maris-Tech CEO Israel Bar added that the collaboration has the potential to open new opportunities for advanced video and AI defense solutions at the edge, boosting situational awareness and autonomous decision-making in the field.
