I only tend to have margarine or butter on my bread if I am having some kind of savoury sandwich. If I have anything else such as jam I tend to leave the margarine or butter out and just have the jam.
Chocolate spread on bread is a favourite of mine as well.
I like both, but lately, I have been eating jam, particularly sugar-free jams. My father enjoys sugar-free blueberry jam, which inspired my love of jams. Hehe
