The big difference between a job and a business is with a job, you're selling your labor or service to an employer, and you are on their payroll. But with a business, you have your own platform to sell your services and products, and you are not on anyone's payroll. A job will provide guaranteed income, you receive salary. However, with business there is no guaranteed earning. It takes a lot of effort to generate income.

Though with business like you said, there is no guaranteed income, but one major advantage it has it that it is not limited in terms of how much you can earn. My choice would always be to own a business, but I do not mind working for someone first to gain some experience and as well accumulate some capital.

I choose business, you are right the distinction between a job and a business lies in selling your labor versus owning a platform to sell services or products. While jobs offer guaranteed income through salaries, businesses entail uncertain earnings that require substantial effort to generate.
