According to the report, the Indian state of Karnataka has proposed a 14-hour workday and stirred a debate. IT sector unions are calling this the “biggest ever attack on the working class in this era”.

The report added that working 55 hours or more impacts health. But is it good for the company? Do long hours translate into productivity? Should Karnataka go ahead with the proposal?

As expected, many oppose on this proposal. The people are against of it for the welfare of the people. Their health will be affected because of the long hours work. Many asked if the company and government benefit a lot of this proposed long hours work .

There will be a long strike in opposition of the proposed 14 hours work, meaning, an employee must start at 7 in the morning and ends at 9 in the evening, that's brutal.
