Keeping a spare smartphone as backup

Smartphones are used for payment and other applications but they can malfunction anytime. Do members keep one or more smartphones as a backup for emergencies, so that they can quickly replace the malfunctioning phone?

I keep one backup phone at home for exactly that reason. Modern phones do everything, which is great until something goes wrong. When your device refuses to charge or the screen gives up, you feel stuck. A small spare phone makes life easier because you can move your SIM, log in, and carry on without stress. It is not about luxury, it is about avoiding the trouble that comes with being suddenly disconnected

Yes, I have a backup phone just in case the one I am currently using malfunctions. Having a backup phone also helps during power interruptions.
