Keir Starmer set to be the Britain's new prime minister

A former human rights lawyer and prosecutor, Keir Starmer, is set to become Britain's new prime minister. This is after winning a landslide election on Thursday, July 4. With this win it has put an end to the 14 years of Conservative Party rule

Results show that the Labour has passed the magic number of 326 seats for a House of Commons majority just before 5 a.m. on Friday, July 5, confirming a change of government that was predicted for months.

The economic crisis that have been rocking Britain for long contributed to the change in governance. It will take long before the laboir will comes to power again considering their poor performance especially in area of economy. I wiish the new prime minister success all through.
