Kenya Airways (KQ) has made a landmark leap in sustainable aviation by operating its first passenger flight using a blend of sustainable aviation fuel (SAF). Flight KQ 100 from Nairobi's Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) to Mombasa carried 120 passengers using a fuel mix containing 30% biofuel derived from recycled vegetable oils.
