Lighning Network Weakness Threatens Bitcoin Network.

LN is a layer 2 network which aims to speed up transactions and make transaction fees very cheap but is misused by attackers. Based on the findings of crypto experts from Illinois University, published on Cryptoslate.com, they found a vulnerability in the layer 2 network (LN), through a Zombie attack, which caused the layer 2 protocol to crash, only 30 nodes were needed to be able to lock the network. The attacker managed to steal 750 Btc.

Every network have bugs. Ligthning network is future since fees are much lower. Try send something over regular Bitcoin network. I think fee is 7000 statoshi while I pay 5 satoshi on lightning network.
