[LIVE] Japan tsunami watch: 3m high waves expected after earthquake in Russia

According to the report , a magnitude 8.7 earthquake struck off Russia’s Kamchatka Peninsula on Wednesday (Jul 30) at 8.25am local time (7.25am Singapore time), sparking tsunami warnings and evacuation alerts in Japan. Japan's meteorological agency upgraded an earlier tsunami advisory to a tsunami warning, saying it expects waves as high as 3m to arrive along large coastal areas along the Pacific Ocean.

How crucial will it be if that 3 m wave caused by a tsunami attacks Japan. Hoping they already had planned to evacuate their homes to a safety areas.

When i watched the video clip of the speed of the tsunami along Pacific coast, i was baffled and shocked at such velocity of waves. Nature is supreme and powerful. All the countries near the Pacific receive their share of destruction.

The tsunami in Russia and Japan reached up to 10 meters high. Thankfully, those residents who live near seas and beaches were warned ahead of its occurrence, so they were saved.
