Loboc, Ph Children’s Choir dazzles at 13th China Int'l Folk Arts Fest

According to the report, a historic moment was witnessed during the opening of the 13th China International Folk Arts Festival (CIFAF) on Oct. 14, as the Loboc Children’s Choir (LCC) from Bohol led the prestigious opening ceremony with a magnificent performance.

The Ph contestants are composed of 16 young singers and three teachers. The LCC’s angelic voices and harmonies resonated on stage with their soulful renditions of the songs "Shared Future" and "Jasmine Flower," conveying a message of unity and friendship among diverse cultures.

The report also stated that, as the only delegation from the Philippines, the LCC members served as young cultural ambassadors between the Philippines and China.

This Ph delegates are led by Consul General Iric Arribas and Cultural Officer Sarah Erer of the Philippine Consulate General in Guangzhou and the Philippine team.

The festival was held from Oct. 14 to 21 and featured performances from various countries to celebrate friendship through art and culture.

It's truly inspiring to see how the Loboc Children's Choir represented the Philippines at such an important event as the 13th China International Folk Arts Festival. The beauty and harmony of their voices not only moved the audience but also served as a symbol of friendship and understanding between different cultures. It's admirable that, as the only delegation from the country, they were cultural ambassadors, bringing Filipino traditions and spirit to the international stage. Events like this strengthen ties between countries through the arts and showcase the talent and warmth of Filipino youth. I hope that these kinds of cultural exchanges will continue to promote peace and friendship around the world.

I'm also overwhelmed of the result of the festival which was held in China. It was so significant, that despite the eternal conflict between China and the Philippines, the said conflict isn't part of the contest.
