Financial advisors are experts, of course they work on the basis of professionalism and code of ethics, so they only provide advice according to their expertise, while the decision is in the hands of the investor, so financial advisors cannot be sued as long as they do not violate the code of ethics.

I don't think you can sue them unless you have more than enough evidence that they intentionally gave you wrong information.
